Vereinfachte Bewilligung von Ausnahmetransporten und Anpassungen bei Fahrverboten (Switzerland)
Medienmitteilung Veröffentlicht am 6. Mai 2026 Vereinfachte Bewilligung von Ausnahmetransporten und Anpassungen bei Fahrverboten Bern, 06.05.2026 — Ab dem 1. Juli 2026 werden Bewilligungen für Ausnahmetransporte in einem vereinfachten Verfahren erteilt. Zudem dürfen Tiere zugunsten des Tierwohls künftig auch nachts sowie an Sonn- und Feiertagen transportiert werden. Rundstreckenrennen schliesslich werden unter bestimmten Auflagen wieder zugelassen. Das hat der Bundesrat an seiner Sitzung vom 6. Mai 2026 beschlossen. Mit der Vereinfachung des Bewilligungsverfahrens für Ausnahmetransporte beabsichtigt der Bundesrat, den Aufwand für öffentliche und private Akteure zu verringern. Damit wird er auch den Bedürfnissen der Wirtschaft gerecht. Ausserdem werden diese Transporte so besser über den Tag verteilt, was dem Verkehrsfluss zugute kommt. Die Änderung der Verkehrsregelnverordnung (VRV), die am 1. Juli in Kraft tritt, sieht darüber hinaus vor, dass Transporte von verderblichen Gütern und von Tieren vom Sonntags- und Nachtfahrverbot ausgenommen werden. Lastwagentransporte sind für Tiere mit Stress verbunden. Durch nächtliche Fahrten können hohe Temperaturen und staubedingt längere Fahrzeiten vermieden werden. Dies liegt im Interesse des Tierwohls. Nachdem das Verbot für Rundstreckenrennen im Strassenverkehrsgesetz (SVG) aufgehoben wurde, werden nun auch die Detailregelungen in der VRV angepasst. Künftig sind die Kantone für die Bewilligung dieser Sportveranstaltungen zuständig. Dabei achten sie darauf, dass bestimmte Auflagen erfüllt sind: Unter anderem müssen die Sicherheitsstandards eingehalten und die Erfordernisse des Umweltschutzes berücksichtigt werden.
